How to play Alphadle
Alphadle is a daily letter game. Once a day you roll six random letters, and every pattern or word hidden in them unlocks badges worth Entropy Points (EP). Collect rare badges, keep your streak alive and climb the leaderboard.
1. Roll your six letters
Press Roll Alphadle to draw six letters. Each slot can also come up as a withdrawn letter, shown as an empty slot; you can never get six withdrawn letters. You get one roll a day, and the next one unlocks at midnight, Paris time.
2. Unlock badges and earn EP
Your letters are checked against 11,467 badges. Letter patterns reward how the letters are arranged: pairs, triplets, alphabetical runs, palindromes, missing letters and more. Themed badges reward rolls that spell a word from games, music, anime, cinema, science, programming and other worlds. Your daily score is the sum of the EP of every badge you unlock.
3. Rarities
Every badge has a rarity. The rarest badge of your roll sets the rarity of the roll itself.

4. Streak and luck
Roll on consecutive days to build a streak. Your streak raises your luck: the game makes hidden extra rolls and keeps the best one. Missing a day resets your streak to day 1.

5. Leaderboard and friends
With a free account, your rolls are saved and appear on the leaderboard (today, this week and all-time). Add friends with their friend code to compare your best rolls and total EP.
6. Betadle
Betadle is an optional subscription (0.99 EUR per month) that supports the game. It unlocks a reroll every 48 hours and custom username colors and gradients. It is also free for players who boost the official Alphadle Discord server with a linked account.

Is Alphadle free?
Yes. Rolling, badges, the leaderboard and friends are free. Betadle is an optional supporter subscription.
How often can I roll?
Once a day. A new roll becomes available every day at midnight, Paris time.
How is my score calculated?
Your daily score is the sum of the Entropy Points (EP) of every badge your six letters unlock. Your lifetime EP is the total of all your daily scores.
What does luck do?
Luck gives you hidden extra rolls and keeps the best one. At x1.5 you get one roll plus a 50% chance of a second; at x2.0 you always get two.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak goes back to day 1 and your luck back to x1.0. Your EP and badges are kept.
Do I need an account?
No. You can roll as a guest on your device. An account saves your rolls, puts you on the leaderboard and lets you add friends.
Can I see every badge?
Yes, the badge list shows every badge with its description, rarity and EP value.
